Young Carers

This is a documentary photo series about young carers. These are young people who contribute to or are touched by caring for a person with long-term complex care needs—often a family member. The aim of this project is to contribute to social awareness of the significance of this informal care of these young people. Using a narrative photo series, I offer a glimpse into the care these young people provide.

This project is a coproduction with the Leiden-based welfare organization Incluzio.
